About the Project
Authentous is a business identity management solution, with added verification based on Aadhaar / SSN or a government-valid photo ID card. The app targets service businesses with a field force, and sales and marketing professionals in an enterprise, where they can use verified information to connect with prospects.
Neumeral built both halves of the product: a React Native mobile app for business card management, with a QR code to share identity information for field employees, and a web portal for enterprises to manage identity information, assign and verify employees, and administer cards.

The Challenge
A business card asserts an identity but proves nothing. For a field force turning up at a customer's door, or a sales professional approaching a prospect cold, the person on the other side has no way to confirm that the name, the employer, or the role is real — and the exchange of contact details is still a paper transaction that ends in manual re-entry.
Verifying identity against a government document is only half the problem. The other half is organizational: a company needs to issue cards to its own employees, vouch for them, revoke them when people leave, and keep track of how many are in circulation — all without the employees themselves being able to mint their own credentials.
- Government ID verification: Identity verified against Aadhaar, SSN, or a government-valid photo ID, with verified status carried on the card itself.
- QR-shareable digital cards: Field employees share their identity information by QR code, so a prospect receives verified details rather than a printed claim.
- Personal and company-issued cards: A personal contact card alongside professional cards issued and authorized by the employer, each carrying its own card ID.
- Enterprise portal: Companies manage their identity information, assign and verify employees, and administer the cards issued in their name.
- Card subscription management: Enterprises subscribe cards in bulk by count and period, with validity, amount, approval, and payment status tracked per subscription.
